FootPro™ Moisture Meter

The FootPro™ Moisture Meter is now in stock.  Because it has been proven that a “dry” foot helps with successful bonding of Vettec and other urethane products, we have added a moisture meter to our program.  This is a simple device that gauges the percentage of moisture on the surface of the hoof.  It is recommended the foot be at single digits – anything in double digits increases the odds of a bonding failure.  This gauge includes the two AAA batteries needed to operate.

 

 

 

FootPro™ Folding Brass Ruler (Inches Only)

Redesigned and less expensive, the FootPro™ Folding Brass Ruler is marked in inches only for easier visibility.  It also features one edge marked 0 in the center and out 12” to each end.

A ruler for measuring hooves for symmetry and balance. Zero is at center and measurement read center out. Also useful for laying out bar stock for hand forged shoes.

FootPro™ CS PLUS® Hoof Treatment

The FootPro™ CS PLUS® Hoof Treatment is a clay based hoof treatment with copper sulfate, iodine, venice turpentine and tea tree oil.  The product is used to treat hoof separations or surface pockets in the sole and frog where bacteria may be present.  Packed in a convenient 10 oz. jar, the material is easily spread and leaves no “stain” on the farrier’s fingers.

 

FootPro™ Sandbox Tool

The FootPro™ Sandbox hoof and shoe finishing tool is now available.  This is a nicely designed and well-built tool; most commonly used by competitors and for show horses.  The first model available has a pad on one side only, and is used for finishing shoes and the hoof.  In the near future, we expect to have one that features a pad on both sides of the tool.  This style will be used most frequently for the hoof.  Our 10" expander wheel belts fit these tools and the tool will include a VSM 100 grit Zirconia belt. 

 

FootPro™ Sandbox Half-Round

This is a nicely designed and well-built tool; most commonly used by competitors and for show horses. This tool is the same length as the regular Sandbox tool but is narrower and has a half-round shape. The FootPro Sandbox Half-Round Tool is now available in 18”. This model will be labeled 18” – Long while the first model introduced is labeled 15” – Regular. Belts marked with a 15” and 18” designation will be available for use with the Half-Rounds.

The angled design of the FootPro™ Clincher allows easier clinching with less stress on your wrists. Carefully heat treated, the teeth of this tool have proven to be extremely durable under the most trying of circumstances. Fully polished for additional comfort.

 

FootPro™ Silicone Wrap for Tool Handles

The FootPro™ handle wrap is a versatile tape that works well as a handle wrap. The tape will fuse onto itself after two minutes and will not allow repositioning. It has a very high tensile strength, will not melt up to 500 Fº, stays flexible to -60 Fº and will stretch up to 300%. This tape resists UV rays and weathering and is better than duct tape and other wraps. The tape is available in 10 ft. rolls.
