Baldor 1/2 hp Two Speed Grinder (Black)

Farriers can run this unit at 1800rpm if they are sharpening knives, or the normal 3600rpm for grinding shoes and other items.  This grinder has a 5/8” shaft, which is the same as the BG12 unit.  The toggle switch shows a fast option, 3600rpm or slow option, 1800rpm.

 

 

Baldor 1/4 Buffer – Red   

Baldor is no longer making the 1/4hp buffer motor housing that we have had for years.  The new housing is the same size as the 1/2hp grinder. The buffer has 1/2" shafts and operates at 1800 rpm also the same as the original.  We have extended the shafts by 1" on each end to make it easier to keep knives away from the housing.  It is painted red, to avoid confusing it with the 1/2hp grinder.
